1. Who we are
Destination Discover is a tourism consultancy and personalised itinerary-planning service based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Privacy questions can be sent to info@destinationdiscover.ae.
2. Information we collect
When you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, destination interests, travel dates, number of travellers, approximate budget and preferences you choose to share. If you suggest a place, we also receive the place, country or region, your description and any visiting tip you submit. We do not request payment-card details, passwords or unnecessary passport and identity-document copies through this website.
3. Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand your travel-planning needs, prepare a proposal or itinerary, provide the requested consultancy service, maintain service records and comply with applicable legal obligations. Reader suggestions are stored privately for review, editorial follow-up and possible future inclusion on the website; they are never published automatically.
4. Consent and lawful handling
By submitting an enquiry, you ask us to use the information provided to respond and take steps toward the requested service. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect handling already lawfully completed.
5. Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when you request or authorise us to coordinate with an appropriately licensed travel partner, when a service provider is needed to operate our communications, or when disclosure is required by law. Before sending information to any airline, hotel, embassy, visa centre or other provider, you should review that provider’s own privacy terms.
6. Storage and international services
Enquiries may be handled through email and technology providers whose systems may operate outside the UAE. We take reasonable steps to limit access and use reputable providers, but no online transmission is completely risk-free.
7. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, deliver the service, maintain necessary business records or meet legal requirements. We use reasonable account, access and security controls. Please do not send sensitive information unless it is specifically required and an appropriate secure method has been agreed.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete information we hold about you, object to or restrict certain handling, or withdraw consent where applicable. Email your request to us; we may need to verify your identity before acting.
9. Cookies and updates
The current website does not intentionally use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Essential hosting and security technologies may process basic technical data. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change; the effective date above shows the latest version.
